Conner's Page

Being a proud parent sometimes can be an understatement.
My son Conner blew my socks off last year. He was 7 yrs old with a head
full of wild curly hair. He is known for his hair and he hates to get it cut.
Conner was going in for his yearly haircut in January...
this is when it happened.
He said he wanted to donate his hair to Locks of Love!
Could you imagine my face and yes the tears.
So, he did it! We cut off as much as we could and sent it in to them.
When he received his certificate and beautiful card in the mail he was so proud.

December 24,06 -Christmas Eve and his hair is still growing.
He is thinking of going past Feb. lets see what happens...

He is now known as the kid on a mission. His last hair cut was a trim in June for his Communion day and his new goal is to grow it till Feb 07' (Valentine's)
and donate it again.
I just wanted him to know how proud we are of him and so are his friends

It's now Feb 20th and he has decided to keep growing. He looks a bit wild now and he really needs a cut but, its up to him so we are supporting him!

UPDATE MAY '07!
Well it is May '07 and Conner just celebrated his 9th Birthday. He finally cut his hair of 10 inches Wow!! His goal is to grow again to next May! Thanks to Steve and his amazing team at Domani's hair salon in Woodbury NY!!

UPDATE JUNE '08!
It's been over a year since Conner's last visit to Domani's hair salon and he just
celebrated his 10th Birthday... his goal is August '08
OK he now says if he can make it through the summer
he's going to November "ThanksGiving"
